Why Isn't This A PPV!? UFC London 3/19/22

Jimmitty Crickets, this card packs enough punch to euthanize a young, coked up, prime-time Brock Lesnar. From the bottom to the top, this lineup is DESTINED to provide miraculous finishes behind the roars of a PACKED arena filled with European PSYCHOPATHS… music.

^^^The first fight of the night will feature an outstanding undefeated prospect out of Spain in Ilia Topuria (11-0). He’s finished 10 of his 11 wins and rides a 2 fight KO streak against 2 established UFC Veterans in Ryan Hall and Damon Jackson (as presented last weekend). He will square up against Jai Herbert, another young up and coming prospect in the division who sits with a 1-2 record in the UFC. After a couple rough losses he managed to bounce back with a KO victory over Khama Worthy in the first round. He’s primarily a striker with almost all of his wins coming by way of KO (9). Ilia will be a tough test Saturday as he poses a major threat on the mat, having 7 of his 10 finishes by submission, look for Topuria to get this down early and look to end this fight in the grappling department. If Jai can stop the TD’s things could get interesting, but I’ll take Ilia in this one.

Another fire scrap, or beatdown in some eyes, that we’ll get to see has a little beef to it. We have a massive prospect in Muhammad Mokaev making his UFC debut Undefeated at 5-0 (pro) - 23-0 (amateur) and ON A MISSION to exterminate the racists from he UFC. Cody Durden, his opponent on Saturday, is 12-3-1 and is most notoriously known for telling his last opponent Aori Qileng “I had to send him back to China.” Muhammad instantly took to Twitter and the UFC shortly booked it… music. Don’t wanna miss this one, Muhammad set to punish Durden for his remarks. Here’s the tweet.

Are we talking about rising prospects if we don’t mention the kid? The rising prospect of 2021 with a single debut performance, big enough to shake the entire MMA community and sign himself a 7 figure deal with Barstool Sports, Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett (17-3). Paddy comes into this fight with some generous match-making, getting an opponent extremely similar to his last in Rodrigo Vargas (12-4), but it seems that Paddy will have an even bigger size advantage in this one. With all the confidence in the world, and off a 6 month layoff, look for Paddy to make big ripples again as he already reigns supreme grappling skills and oaths he’s been spending countless hours evolving his striking arsenal on the feet. Round 1 KO ya filthy lizards.

Dan “The Hangman” Hooker (21-11-0) is set to make his featherweight debut in the Co-Main Event slot on Saturday Night against ESTABLISHED featherweight contender Arnold Allen (17-1-0) who currently rides an extremely impressive 8 UFC win streak and ranks #7 in the division. Dan swears his body is built for the drop but recently it seems as if guys trying to drop classes has an abrupt, unpleasant ending. I’ll take Arnold in this fight to come out much bigger and stronger as the true featherweight in this matchup and win a convincing decision. And that’s banking on Dan’s chin which might not even be too smart in this one unfortunately. Both stellar dudes and you hate to see one lose, but my marbles ride on Arnold. What a brawl to look forward to.

Boy oh Boy! A heavyweight matchup you absolutely love to see. The best of it’s kind to be exact. We have the seasoned, poised, and absolute savage veteran striker in Alexander Volkov (34-9-0) hopping in to face the surging heavyweight prospect out of England in Tom Aspinall (11-2-0). Aspinall has made his name quick in the division with highlight finishes against legitimate opponents in no time, making this fight against Volkov a potential number 1 Contender fight based upon the fashion of victory from either party. These guys are some of the most technical strikers on the planet and they’re heavyweights. This that shit we do like ladies and gentlemen. Technical standup warfare from massive dangerously provoked heavyweights…music. Give me Aspinall to make his splash into SERIOUS title contention after a highlight finish Saturday Night baby. GEEKS TO THA MOON.
